Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Austria, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in Austria showcased notable performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps saw varying patterns in downloads, active users, and revenue.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, starting at around 5K weekly downloads and peaking at approximately 6.2K towards the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users remained strong, increasing from 4M to about 4.2M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a gradual rise in downloads, reaching about 3.5K towards the end of June. The app's active users fluctuated, starting at 60K and ending at approximately 68K.

Google Earth showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 4K in mid-June. Its active users grew from 70K to over 83K, reflecting a positive trend.

ÖAMTC saw a rise in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 4K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also increased, ending at over 32K. Revenue was minimal but consistent, mostly around $1 to $4 per week.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS experienced a steady revenue increase, reaching over $7.8K by the quarter's end. Downloads remained stable, with a peak of approximately 2.9K, while active users grew to about 27K.
